Users and Permissions

To control the usage of a certain FANOMOS database, the names of valid users are stored in the database. Each user has a password to safeguard the database for unwanted usage. Furthermore, each user is granted a certain authorisation. Valid values are System Manager, Normal and Guest. This authorisation restricts the user in the usage of FANOMOS functions. The relation between the user authorisation value and the FANOMOS function that can be used is given in subsequent table. In more detail, not mentioned in the table, only System Manager authorisation allows changes in data to be made.
