[Edit]Creating a new spatial object

In this topic we will create a new spatial object from scratch.

Press the right mouse button when the spatial objects folder is selected

Enter the name of the new spatial object/

Select the new create spatial object and the property panel will appear.

To edit the coordinates of the area click the ... button after the Coordinates field. Now the a window will open for editing the points (in the case a new area this window contains no points.

Goto the map window press the middle mouse button to place the points of the area, when the mouse is moved to the point table they should appear. Existing points can be move using the right mouse button or their value can be directly edited. The New button can be used to also create a new point but it will be placed at (0,0) coordinates and so should be moved (right mouse button) within viewing range. The Delete button will delete the highlighted point.
